Getting more acceptances from blog directories (read yesterday’s post) and I feel very much a part of the blogging comunity 
People are obviously reading my posts too, as I’ve ben having a few comments left, even after weeding out all the gambling spam. Blogging is turning into a very worthwhile experience, just as a fun hobby.
Next on the list is to think about earning some revenue, and actually posting something that people will be interested in :p
Last night I spent an hour adding blog resource links on the left hand side, and submitting my blog to all those sites. I’ve already been approved by half a dozen, which is great. I’m obviously not terrible at this.
Whether more people visit or not remains to be seen. It’s an interesting community amojng blogs, lots of people taking an interest in each other. I’m just writing about myself mostly, I can’t imagine why anyone would be interested. Maybe I should move to a professional blog, where I report on something interesting ?
Yup, paid a deposit on the car mentioned in my last post. My grandfather and mum are lending me $500 each to pay for it, on the condition that I hurry up and get a job. I think it’s a fair deal, and I’ll definately appreciate being behind the wheel again.
My personal situation is not improving. The cupboards are still bare, as is the fridge, but I have a little in the bank to make it through till next pay day. It’s obviously time to get my ass into gear and get a job.
Now… Getting a job has to be one of the most frustrating processes, not just because you have to go to the effort, but because after you do, you’ve only let yourself in for more work. I’m thinking now, just to keep me sane, that whatever I earn is going to be saved or invested. I’m going to work, but only to find my dream of being self sufficient or being self employed.
A friend of a friend has had to move overseas quickly and is offering their red ‘85 Honda Civic for sale. It looks in great condition apart from a few little things, but it’s great for an old car.
At only $1000, looks like I might get myself a great deal and be back on the road finally. It’s only been about two weeks without a car, but although I’ve managed so far, having a car would be a lot of help.

It’s the end of week two of my Multimedia Diploma, and I’m getting along quite nicely. Hopefully a formal qualification is all I need to push me into paid work. Hopefully my online hobbies will translate nicely into a job one day.
