All New Blog Dec 2006

Wednesday, December 13th, 2006

After reviewing all my unused, undeveloped and otherwise underutilised domains I remembered casualnerd, my personal domain and one of my first. Seems like I haven’t made a post for 9 months… I had no idea it was so long. I only remembered this domain when I stopped recieving emails to my private address. Seems like my host deleted the account and it was almost a week before I realised it was gone.

So while I had a few spare hours today I decided to get everything back into gear, update the blog and get it running again. A lot has probably changed since I last posted, so I don’t know what to write anymore. I guess I’ll start fresh and see where blogging takes me this time.

If you’re reading this, I wonder why. I see that yesterday 34 unique visitors viewed the main page, but I have nothing to offer. Sorry ! Wow.. looks like there’s a total of almost 7000 visitors this year and I haven’t posted anything since April. Where are they all coming from ??

CasualNerd Back Online !

Monday, March 27th, 2006

After 6 months without an update, a few days ago casualnerd.com was hacked and I’ve had to get busy and fix things up. It was just a simple front page defacement, seems like kids have way too much time on their hands these days. Anyways, just upgraded to the latest version of wordpress so hopefully it won’t happen again.

So here we are, blog running, and nothing to report. Maybe later.

Holidays !!

Friday, May 27th, 2005

That’s right, I’m now on holidays for two weeks. Of course I’ve made a promise to myself that i’ll actually get some work done in that time, but who am I kidding ?

Seriously, two weeks is a long time, and I had better get a significant amount of work done, especially classwork I need to catch up on. The semester ends two weeks after holidays, by which time everything needs to be handed in and finalised.

As usual, wish me luck ;)

Car Broke Down..

Monday, May 16th, 2005

Alternator is stuffed, leaving me with a $350 replacement bill, plus $60 fitting. It’s a cruel world I tell you.

Luckily, I’ve recieved the rest of the payment for stoopidnews.com, so I will possibly be able to afford food this week :P

Weekend Bliss

Saturday, April 30th, 2005

Some bliss anyway. I went out to my mothers and was treated to a homecooked meal, which I was really craving. You never really do realise how much you miss that kind of thing till you taste it though, then you almost wish you were still living at home.

My internet business is dying. I mean, it never really took off, but I’ve let it slide terribly. The wierd thing is, there’s still a few cents rolling in every day, and some sites have even increasedin traffic since I stopped tending to them. It’s time I rethought my approach obviously.
